Assassin's Creed Brotherhood On Steam For Mac

I have Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection, and I can't figure out how to start the memories from the Da Vinci Disappearance. What do I need to do? I just waited ages for it to download. When i clicked 'play' a message popped up after a few seconds of bouncing saying it had 'closed unexpectedly.' ' This has been happening for the past two hours. Do i need to register/activate it first? Or is that something completely different? I'm a complete noob at this, so please KEEP IT SIMPLE.side note: i'm running on 9.5.2.

Also, when i try copying the code to clipboard and pasting it in the bar to try to activate it, it always says invalid. Any advice???
